This document is aimed at home and business owners, and committees of public buildings such as village halls in the Yorkshire Dales National Park who may be thinking of renovating, refurbishing or
maintaining their building(s). It provides guidance for when work is being done on how to mitigate against affecting the homes and future homes of Swifts, Swallows and House Martins. This document should be read in conjunction with YDNPA planning guidance where appropriate. Consent may be required to add a nest box to a listed building.
