Low Row nest camera
Keep an eye on this site in Low Row, where the swallows are nesting in an old privy!
Updates:
- 27th March 2025: the cameras are up and running! Fingers crossed that the swallows make it back safely from their long winter migration to Africa.
- 9th April 2025: The first swallow arrived back at the Two Dales Bakery and can be seen on the Reeth nest camera. Welcome back! When will our Low Row birds return?
- 25th April 2025: Still no signs of the Low Row swallows on the camera, but they are back, regularly visiting the building the nest is in. Fingers crossed that they do settle down soon.
- 4th May 2025: Our Reeth swallows are now sitting on the nest during the day time. Does this mean that they have eggs?
- 23rd May 2025: Hurrah! We’ve tracked down our Low Row swallows (they were nesting just behind the camera), so following a bit of tweaking you can now keep an eye on both pairs.

Viewing tips:
- If you get the ‘Sign in to confirm that you’re not a bot‘ message then leave it a few minutes and refresh the page. This is a known issue with Youtube, but should resolve itself.
- Check that the Youtube video says ‘Live’ (with a little red dot next to it). If you ignore the nest-cam web page for a while it may show you old footage. Either refresh the page or click the ‘Live’ button to get the latest swallow action!
